Race Ahead® · race equity training

By the time a racism discrimination case reaches a tribunal, it is already too late.

Most workplace racism doesn't begin with one major incident. It builds over time through unanswered questions, everyday behaviours, missed opportunities and conversations that never happen. Race Ahead gives leaders, managers and teams the confidence, language and practical tools to recognise issues earlier, respond better and create workplaces where everyone can thrive.

Inside the curriculum

Four practical modules that build confidence, understanding and action.

The evidence

Why organisations can't afford to ignore race equity

We lead with evidence, not opinion.

of ethnic-minority workers racially harassed at work in five years.

52%

have witnessed racism at work.

1.5%

of UK senior leadership roles are held by Black professionals.

What is different about Race Ahead

Education is our activism

Not everyone walks in ready to talk about racism, and that's okay. Our sessions are built on psychological safety, so people can speak honestly, make mistakes and learn without fear of judgement. Creating that space takes real skill. It's what our clients remember most, and it's what our reputation is built on.

  • Lived-experience facilitation that builds trust fast
  • Real-time content that reflects current affairs
  • Open questions and debate, never blame
  • An action-planning session built into Race Ahead

FAQ'S

What organisations ask us

Isn't this just D&I?

No. Diversity and inclusion is an important umbrella term, but with so much sitting underneath it, race can't always be given the focus it needs. We specialise in race equity so it gets that focus.

We already have HR. Why training?

HR handles process. Training builds awareness and understanding, then helps new behaviours become embedded, so managers and teams don't just know what's expected, they act on it every day.

What about staff who push back?

Our holistic approach, extensive experience and skilled facilitation mean we can navigate challenge safely. Using evidence and open questions, we reduce defensiveness and create space for honest conversation.
