EDP Training Won the IAMBOB Special Award 2022

The EDP Training team attended the BristolLive Business Awards 2022 on November 25th, and we’re beyond delighted to receive the IAMBOB Special Award!

Firstly, we would like to congratulate both the finalists and winners. With other incredible businesses in attendance, the event turned out to be a blast. Being considered for this award was a tremendous honour, and it meant a lot to be recognised alongside such incredible companies.

Reach plc, BristolLive and BusinessLive presented the BristolLive Business Awards. These awards recognised the positive accomplishments of Bristol businesses and individuals. The awards ceremony also provided a platform for individuals and businesses in Bristol to connect and share support. The awards night was a celebration of success, recognising accomplishments and highlighting companies excelling in the region.

“It was great to […] celebrate all that is good in business in and around Bristol,” said BristolLive editor Pete Gavan. “Companies across Bristol showed real determination and an ability to innovate – overcoming the challenges in front of them to produce some incredible work over the past year, and it was a great evening with some worthy winners.”

As for the award category EDP won, the IAMBOB Special Award aims to promote the growth of the Black economy in the UK. This accolade is in recognition of Reach and BusinessLive’s work to support Black businesses in Britain. IAMBOB is part of Reach’s efforts to represent communities across the UK.

In 2022, change and adaptation characterised the year, and receiving the IAMBOB Special Award shows our commitment to our work. To all our clients and partners, thank you for supporting our work. You are the reason we are where we are today.

Our clients have been incredibly supportive over the past six years, and we want to thank you all. Our sincere gratitude goes out to those who have booked a mental health first aid course or anti-racism course with us, whether you have been with us from the beginning or are a new client. It will be exciting to see where the next two to five years may lead, and we hope you will be a part of it.
