WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM THIS PROGRAMME?

Our first Race Ahead Train the Trainer Programme was truly transformative. We would like to highlight some of the key moments that made this event so special.

Training New Instructors: We successfully trained 13 new Instructors in the Race Ahead courses, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to bring this important subject matter back to their respective organisations and locations across the UK. This is a significant step towards spreading awareness and driving positive change.

Creating a Safe Space: Our event provided a safe and inclusive space for all participants to come together and engage in meaningful discussions about race equity. This atmosphere of trust and openness allowed for productive conversations and personal growth.

Knowledge Sharing: Day 2 was a standout as we had the opportunity to learn from each other’s presentations. The wealth of knowledge and insights shared among participants was truly remarkable and enriched everyone’s understanding of the subject matter.

Some feedback from the trainers on the course

The quality and delivery of the Race Ahead training, with a wide wealth of great experience, expertise and wealth of knowledge shared in a safe space to learn, grow and develop. Great connections and long-lasting friendships!

The materials we are provided with are first class and the network of trainers will help us all professionally.

I felt passionate about anti-racism before and a desire to contribute to a fairer society and better life for everyone, but the course has sparked a fire and shown me the level of inequality for the global majority in the UK.
